Caitlin Cordero, M.Ed., is a School Psychologist with extensive experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations tailored to the unique strengths and needs of the individual. She has also provided counseling, both individually and in small groups, to children and teens experiencing a variety of emotional and social challenges.

Caitlin has therapeutic experience with children and teens experiencing an array of behavioral and emotional challenges, such as Autism, anxiety, anger management, depression, social skills difficulties, ADHD, and ODD. She meets the client where they are with a non-judgmental and empathetic approach. She provides unconditional positive regard while helping client’s to gain coping skills to manage behavioral, social, and/or emotional challenges they may encounter.

Caitlin specializes in conducting psychoeducational evaluations to children and teens. Her years of experience in school settings as a School Psychologist provide her with a unique understanding of the complexities of a child’s educational life and how that affects an evaluation. Caitlin has expertise in evaluating and treatment strategies for children and teens on the autism spectrum disorder. Further, she has a wide range of experience conducting evaluations for a variety of needs, such as dyslexia, ADHD, and intellectual disability. Caitlin utilizes a comprehensive approach in her evaluations that emphasize the client’s strengths while gaining an understanding of his or her learning, cognitive, and behavioral differences.
Caitlin received her specialist degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Additionally, she has a graduate certificate in play therapy from UNC Charlotte.
