Wynns Family Psychology utilizes a variety of modalities depending on the needs of individual clients. We commonly integrate techniques from Emotion-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Our goals is to create a warm, supportive, and collaborative relationship with kids, empowering them to use their strengths to overcome difficulties while enhancing problem solving and effective coping skills.

Wynns Family Psychology leads social skills groups for children and teens throughout the year as well as week-long social skills day camps in the summer. These groups and camps cover many issues that help kids develop the skills needed to foster healthy relationships and deal with the challenges of everyday life, including self-control, anger management, gossiping, bullying, shyness, communication, and self-esteem.

Wynns Family Psychology has experience with academic interventions and study skills building for students with learning disabilities and autism at an elementary age level. We routinely administer academic, intellectual and personality assessments.
