Ralf Valencia is a master's level psychologist who provides therapy and assessment services for children, adolescents, and adults. He works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem concerns, adjustment difficulties, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. Ralf provides individual therapy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). For younger children, he also incorporates play therapy to support emotional expression and growth in developmentally appropriate ways. In addition to therapy, Ralf provides psychological and psychoeducational evaluations.
Ralf is passionate about helping clients build resilience, develop effective coping skills, and gain greater confidence in navigating life's challenges. He tailors treatment to each individual's developmental stage, strengths, and goals while fostering a collaborative, supportive therapeutic relationship. His experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of presenting concerns, including the unique challenges associated with immigration-related transitions. Ralf provides comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for concerns including ADHD, learning and academic difficulties, and broader psychological functioning. His goal is to deliver thoughtful, evidence-based assessments that help individuals and families better understand their strengths and challenges while providing practical recommendations to guide treatment, educational planning, and future success.
Ralf earned his master's degree in Psychology from Saint Louis University in the Philippines. Before moving to the United States, he spent two years providing therapy and psychological assessment services in clinical settings. His diverse professional background allows him to bring both cultural sensitivity and a broad perspective to his work with clients and families.

Outside of work, Ralf enjoys spending quality time with his family. Some of his favorite ways to relax include beach trips and family movie nights. He is married to a nurse, and together they have two children—a daughter and a son who loves sports.
